BOTOX® Cosmetic, Restylane®, and More – Facial Rejuvenation for Buffalo, Niagara Falls, and Rochester

Many patients are interested in facial rejuvenation but are not quite ready for surgical procedures such as facelift or blepharoplasty. For these people, we provide treatments that are gently injected into targeted facial areas by Dr. David Sherris. Unlike other practices where the doctor may delegate the injection process to unqualified staff members, each injectable treatment at the Clinic of Facial Plastic Surgery is performed by Dr. Sherris himself. BOTOX® Cosmetic, Restylane®, Radiesse®, Juvéderm™, and Perlane® work in slightly different ways, but the goal for each injectable remains the same: to restore youthful vitality and contours to facial features. BOTOX® Cosmetic

BOTOX® Cosmetic is an FDA-approved treatment that can eliminate frown lines, crow's feet, and forehead lines quickly and without surgery. Each BOTOX® injection at the Clinic of Facial Plastic Surgery is performed by Dr. David Sherris, one of the nation's leading researchers on BOTOX® therapy. Dr. Sherris has written scientific articles about BOTOX® injections for some of the largest publications in his field, including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and The Facial Plastic Surgery Journal. Radiesse®

Radiesse® is most effectively used to target the wrinkles around the nose, mouth, and upper chin. This injectable can produce long-lasting results by increasing the skin's supply of collagen. Collagen is the protein that gives skin its tightness. As collagen production decreases due to the body's natural aging process, skin begins to droop and sag. The boost in collagen production that Radiesse® provides can slow or reverse the signs of aging for up to two years at a time.

Restylane®

Restylane® is an appropriate choice for patients who wish to reduce wrinkles and creases that run across the forehead, above the chin, or between the nose and mouth. Restylane® injections contain a substance that boosts hydration levels in underlying facial tissues. The increased moisture "plumps up" skin, smoothing away lines and restoring a youthful glow for up to six months after treatment. Juvéderm™

Perlane®

Recently approved by the FDA, the cosmetic dermal filler Perlane® can be used for several different facial rejuvenation purposes. Perlane® can help fill in cheek depressions, augment the lips or chin, and soften acne scars in addition to reducing wrinkles.

SculptraAesthetic

SculptraAesthetic- Recently approved by the FDA, SculptraAesthetic is a new facial injectible treatment for facial wrinkles and loss of overall facial volume.
